On Tuesday, I joined Shoutlife–a Christian alternative to MySpace. It features a similar format as MySpace. Visit me.

Within minutes of joining, I was flooded with friend requests and comments to my guestbook. I didn’t even know most of my new friends, but isn’t that what online communities are all about–getting to know people outside your personal circle?

Communities like Shoutlife and MySpace are wonderful marketing tools to reach a wider audience.

Hi Lisa. I like MySpace a lot, but I hate all the cheesy ads from dating sites–sort of dumbs the place down in my opinion. Never been to Shoutlife–I'll check it out, thanks.

The site is nice, but it is not a Christian MySpace. It is more of a Christian Forum with Blogs that allows (like most forums) users to have a simple profile. No doubt it is kewl, but to compare to MySpace, it must possess at least some of the main features. For that, there are plenty to choose from of which many I am a member of currently. The one I use the most due to speed and ease of use (and similarity to MySpace) is http://www.DittyTalk.com.

Again, it is not really a Christian MySpace, but more a Christian site with kewl forums and blogs. That is my 2 cents.
