I stole the title for my first blog entry from my friend Sara. Thanks, Sara!
So why blog? Is it because everyone else is doing it? At first I was resistant because I didn’t want to be like everyone else. Yes, I know…not *everyone* is blogging. Another reason I was hesitant is because I don’t have anything interesting to say. After my friend Marie-Anne yelled at me for that comment, I figured what do I have to lose.
As a writer trying to break into the publishing world, blogging is another way to keep my writing skills sharpened. Plus, it puts me in contact with others who just might be interested in what I have to say. What? I’m sure I can get a few people to read my musings. 😀 My sister is an automatic obligation so there’s one.
So what can be expected from my blog? Who knows! Whatever pops into my mind at the time. I do want to post book reviews of novels that have captured and held my interest. I’m all for promoting authors…for good reason. 😀 Maybe I can convince one or two of those wonderful wordsmiths to grace my blog with their cyber presence. We shall see.
